When this isn’t the right choice
An emergency loan is for a one-off cost, not a regular shortfall. If you’re short every month, a loan can make things harder. If the bill can wait a little, ask the business about a payment plan first, and take time to compare offers. Free, non-profit credit counselling can help you look at all your options.
Be wary of anyone who asks for a fee upfront to release a loan. We never do.

Emergency loan questions
How quickly can I get the money?
Most approved borrowers receive funds as soon as the next business day after signing. Timing depends on how quickly we can verify your details and on your bank.
Is this a payday loan?
No. It’s an instalment loan: you repay it in fixed payments over months, not in one lump sum on your next payday. The APR is never above 35%.
Do you guarantee approval?
No. We check that the payments fit your income before we lend. Anyone who guarantees approval before seeing your information is a warning sign.
Will checking my rate affect my credit score?
No. Checking your rate is a soft check. A full credit check happens only if you accept an offer.
Can I pay it off early?
Yes, at any time, with no prepayment penalty. If your emergency costs less than expected, you can pay back the difference straight away.
What if I need less than the minimum amount?
Our smallest loan is $1,000. For smaller amounts, ask the business you owe about a payment arrangement first. It often costs nothing.
Can I call instead of applying online?
Yes. Call 778-995-7168, Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm ET. We can answer questions and help you through the application.
